Blue Perry

Blue hair by Colour XtremeTOLD you the blue rinse was BACK! Pop sensation Katy Perry wowed fans with her glam blue do at this year's Grammys. If you fancy recreating this out-there trend, hair art specialists Colour Xtreme show us how..

Colour Xtreme Blue Spray"Gather up top section of hair from temple to temple. Then clip bottom section away.
Backcomb from the front of top hair in sections to create height.
Using a soft bristle brush, smooth over the top layer of hair back in to a bouffant quiff at the crown (without losing any of the volume you created)
Twist and push hair back slightly towards the forehead to create more height. Pin hair by crossing the Kirby grips together to lock them in place.
Gather bottom section together into loose ponytail, twisting upwards until it goes back on itself creating a messy chignon shape. Pin roughly into place with v shaped pins.

Colour Xtreme Hair Art Blue GelPlace a towel around your neck, and carefully spray the top bouffant quiff section using the blue Colour Xtreme Hair Art spray
Continue around the back of the hair so the whole style has been coloured. Leave to dry for two minutes of use a hairdryer on a low setting.
Gently layer the colour to increase intensity
Use a strip of paper to mask off the skin on the forehead and nape of the neck as you apply near the hairline to prevent overspray."

Spray £4.07 Gel £5.10 Available at Boots, Boots.com and Amazon
